CHLOE AND LOLA ON VACATION

hey you websurfers and crazy bloggers around the world,

we're really sorry - we haven't been posting since like FOREVER. school is so busy and then there was christmas and new years, so times pretty tight atm. But since we survived christmas (the turkey almost killed us - it was sooo good!) and our hangover from new years eve faded, we decided to say hello to our friends online (are there even any :( please comment if you're reading this!!!)  and show them how great our holidays in MYSTIQUE were!

and in paradise you have neighbours like Mick Jagger or Tommy Hilfiger - yeah we just became friends, you know (well almost ;-) )
of course we also were in the world famous Basils Bar and it was wonderful, sipping your cocktail watching the sunset...

we were sporty as well - here it's lola doing some yoga! after all we had to get rid from those extra pounds we gained from the wonderful banana pancakes and the lobster noodles. The cooks were just amazing and the stuff was so nice, it was really hard to say goodbye to them - cause they were like family to us by the end...

Mystique has turtles everywhere!! and when i say everywhere i mean it!- seriously they were on the streets, beaches, in town.. such cute animals! chloe trying to tame one for taking home ;)

too cool for school

hey guys!

hope you're doing fine.
We just started school (okay it's already one month ago) and after 11 years of feeling to young to do anything, we finally made it  - GRADE 12! it almost feels like having the world at our feet - well almost. At least we both got our drivers licenses, so we're mobil! but because we're in our last year now, we got loads of things to do, so we took a little break from blogging.. sorry about that :)
but since we did take pictures during september we'll just post them a little late so you can still enjoy them.

How are you doing ?

Sorry for the very, very long break of posting - We, Lola and Chloe were both on vacations (again!!) with our families and lets say there wasn't much happening and we were kinda excited when we found out there was Wifi near and we could quickly check our social lives haha - so there was a lot of sun, eating and just relaxing at the sea. AND guess what, we finally got some tan! Pictures will follow soon, no worries, but first we want to show you the newest purchase in our wardrobe. This time it is a piece from chloe, who got it from Zurich, Switzerland while waiting for the plane ✈ ✈ ✈

It definitely is super cosy and so easy to combine. just grab a oversize white blouse/tee and cover it with this lovable piece of sweater, or wear it with some shorts/leggins/jeans. There's not much to do wrong!

kitchen fairies..

quick update for you guys:

today it was baking day and guess what we made some delicious berry/coconut/vanilla muffins!

they turned out just the way they looked and it was pretty easy to make them. but it was quite a procedure to get all the ingredients (don't laugh at us - we're a little chaotic) 

after a couple rides to the local supermarket we finally managed to start baking!

                   the raspberries are fresh out of chloe's garden and they just taste wonderful!

that's us trying to look professional while doing some serious baking here. Actually we managed to look quite acceptable in our today's outfit:

scones and cappuccinos

good morning sunshine!! or should i rather say good morning rain?- It's been pouring outside since yesterday evening. But since a nice sleepover at lola's is always ended with a traditional cup of cappuccino in town, we quickly jumped into the car and headed to "Kipferl". It's a cosy little austrian café where you can get the best coffees and pastries ever.
Today we had some cranberry/lemon scones (We know not really austrian, but whatever) and they were just delicious! They served them with some whipped butter and homemade berry compote and you can't believe how tasty they were. yum-yum!

and guess what - after spending the whole morning in this cute little café it finally stopped raining! yey - so after all we still might go to the beach and work on our tans. haha remember, we spend half our summer vacations in the far north (london and amsterdam ;-) ) and our bodies could do with some color.

Reunion

after a long time not seeing each other we celebrated our reunion with delicious food and a good bottle of champagne - cheers to that friends!

chloe came back from london and lola came back from amsterdam, both with lots of new clothes and full tummies BUT no tan. Up in the north the weather was quite cold and let's say not as nice as in good old austria.

so just ignore our pale faces and look at our awesome clothes instead. 

two besties always need a bracelet that proves their friendship - and guess what - Lola brought one from Amsterdam !!
